General Description
A master's degree is a postgraduate academic degree awarded after the completion of a program in order to obtain a higher qualification for the purpose of employment or in preparation for doctoral studies.
Depending on the program, some master’s programs are by coursework only or by research only while others by coursework & dissertation which is earned as a result of the successful completion of coursework, certain examinations and a submission of thesis.
Upon completion, the master’s degree will be awarded depending on the field of your study or research.

Depending on the program, the master program may last for two (2) to five (5) years.
Academic Requirement and Admission
Each university which conducts postgraduate program has its own minimum entry requirement. Basically, candidates must obtain Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) or equivalent qualification in the related field from an approved university.
In addition, international candidates are required to possess a minimum score in one of the standard English language tests such as IELTS (International English Language Testing System); the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
