Ocean Hackathon 2022

Who organises the local edition in Kuala Lumpur?

The Embassy of France in Malaysia, established in 1957 in Kuala Lumpur, contributes towards strengthening the bilateral relationship in various strategic areas, including the protection of biodiversity and the fight against climate change. The Service of Cooperation and Cultural Action of the Embassy, is more particularly in charge of fostering cooperation in domains including science, technology, innovation and higher education. The sustainable use and preservation of our oceans are a crucial topic for both countries; the Malaysian edition of Ocean Hackathon will improve the visibility of the work and efforts made by Malaysian institutions, universities and NGOs in this domain, thus favoring the emergence of new collaborations with their French counterparts.
